Memaw was born in Tyler, Texas on June 19, 1919. She is much loved and will always be remembered by all her friends and family.Norma Cagle, of Austin, Texas, passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 5, 2012 at Stonebridge Health Center. Norma was born on June 19th, 1919 in Tyler, Texas. She married her beloved husband George Cagle on October 6, 1950 in Dallas, Texas. Norma, known to most as Memaw, was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister and grandmother. From 93 – 96 she was a lunchroom monitor at Patton Elementary. Norma was never known to meet a stranger and was loved by many. She will always be remembered for her outgoing and lively personality as well as her unconditional love for others. She was the image of a godly woman and always put others before herself. Norma touched many lives with her kind spirit and unconditional love for her family, friends and most of all her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She will be greatly missed by her family and those who knew her. Norma is preceded in death by her husband George Cagle. She is survived by her daughter Pat and son-in-law Don Leslie, her grandchildren Blake and Nichole and their spouses Eric Lawrence and Katie Leslie. She is also survived by brothers Grady and Ray Poynter, sister Zollie House and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held in her honor Sunday, April 15, 2012 at 2:00 at Kinney Avenue Christian Fellowship, 1801 Kinney Avenue. Dr. Ken Baldwin officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Cure foundation Inc. or to the Youth Ministry of Kinney Avenue Christian Fellowship.
